Position Description

Provide administrative and operational support to the engineering and production control departments. Every position plays an important role in sustaining a lean culture. A continuous improvement mindset is essential to reach the company''s goals. The term "continuous improvement" means incremental improvement of products, processes, or services over time, with the goal of reducing waste to improve workplace functionality, customer service, or product performance.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Create project schedules and follow-up for status
• Complete project management forms and schedule meetings for new projects and existing projects
• Assist engineers with Omnify entry of new and existing parts
• Assist engineers with parts research
• Assist engineers with ECO creation
• Create manuals for shipment
• Work with ISO 9001 process owners on process changes and flowcharts
• Assist production control with work order creation and ECO activities
• Work with inventory to issue parts and close work orders
• Other duties as assigned

 

Qualification Requirements

• Associate Degree in a business related field of study or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with similar duties
• Proficient with computers including Excel spreadsheet and ERP systems
• This position requires the employee to work in a restricted facility that requires US citizenship or Permanent Residence (Green Card).
