Job Description
T&M Associates is seeking a Supervising Engineer with a focus in Mechanical/Plumbing or Electrical Engineering in the Columbus region. Candidates must have an engineering background in the MEP industry. Established business relationships with public and/or private clients is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be tasked with preparing proposals, providing daily supervision of technical workload, managing projects, preparing designs, and collaborating with our MEP staff in other regions. They will also be expected to pursue local opportunities by networking with clients and sourcing new business development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in their technical field and working knowledge of the MEP / Facilities design industry.
- P.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field required.
- Experience with client management and/or business development efforts, strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD is required. Experience with Revit is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge and interpretation of industry standards and code compliance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Background in technical proposal development.
- Self-motivated, focused, and dedicated to leading a team to deliver solutions for our clients.
