Senior Energy Services Project Developer: Develop HVAC mechanical contracting projects, including: scope of work, project cost estimates, conceptual designs, and sales technical support. Provide technical support and supervision throughout sales and fulfillment phases of projects to ensure continuity, thus optimizing margin and client expectations.


Essential Duties:

- Development of building energy improvement projects with an HVAC mechanical emphasis, from simple to complex solutions, involving internal and external resources. Ensure client satisfaction by providing continuity from project development through fulfillment phases.

- Promote sales by providing timely, accurate and technically sound project estimates and proposals.

- Develop building HVAC and energy solutions to meet client needs & goals. Develop project scopes, perform and document project site surveys, acquire and interpret quotation documentation, and effective product selection.

- Solicit and facilitate appropriate vendors, suppliers and trades to meet project requirements. Coordinate all to ensure project scope is covered and client goals are met.

- Perform pre-quotation project qualification and coordination with project team members.

- Provide project support (on-site as needed) at project turnover to Solutions Project Managers and Service Field Team Leaders

- Provide assistance with change order pricing

- Provide assistance with project management and product procurement

- Produce project development documentation to support pricing and conceptual design

- Provide "As Estimated" project disclosure for closed jobs

- Provide complete up-to-date project and pricing documentation to Project Managers upon contract award and receipt of purchase order

- Provide technical support for sales

- Assist sales team through the sales process with key technical support to better position Boland on qualified Complex turnkey & Comprehensive Solution opportunities

- Assist sales team with expanded vision and creative technical solutions to expand scope and identify the best value solution for client to meet their goals

- Assist sales team to increase the visibility of Boland Energy Solutions with client accounts

- Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business or equivalent combination of education and experience

- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical contracting, designing, managing or maintaining building HVAC systems

- Experience with HVAC systems installation

- Knowledgeable with MS Excel, Word and Project Management software

- Self-motivated, innovative thinker, critical problem solver, multi-tasker, detailed, strong communication and organizational skills, high energy, and team player


Physical Requirements:

- Mobility within the office and job sites

- Willing to travel locally as required

- Visits to job sites and able to climb ladders

- Ability to lift 25 lbs and access HVAC and control systems
