Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Master Scheduler to join our team on site in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Development, integration and maintenance of multiple government and contractor schedules into program top-level Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and associated Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as day-to-day execution tools used by government to periodically assess progress in meeting program requirements.
  • Development, integration, and maintenance of an Agile based schedule IAW established Program Increments and Sprints leveraging a Kanban approach for Service Delivery.
  • Manage schedule updates and approvals on a recurring with internal and external customers.
  • Provide recurring program schedule updates to the customer enterprise project scheduling tool, EPMS.
  • Development of solutions for mitigating schedule risk and achieving program goals and objectives.
  • Reporting on program and project progress in accordance with the IMP at program reviews and resolve critical path items, inconsistencies, and conflicts.
  • Identify and recommend scheduling best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, Visio, and Adobe Pro.
  • Prioritize various tasks, interpret specific instructions, and apply creative problem-solving techniques in a variety of situations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in complex program schedule management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.
  • Experience in Customer Service
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 productivity tools.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Project managing multiple service delivery teams.
  • Must be proficient with MS Project.
  • Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer.
  • Must be able to deliver presentations as needed.
  • Experience working in a Scaled Agile environment preferred.
  • Experience using Atlassian Jira preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment as well as interface with co-workers and customer.
  • Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, fax machine, etc.
  • Must be able to deliver presentations as needed.
  • Must be able to review; decipher and understand program manuals; IT service requests; work orders; etc.
