What you will be doing:
\n- \n
- 65% of your time will be spent leading projects focused on driving Continuous Improvement of their manufacturing operation \n
- Coordinate, design, and develop manufacturing processes using tools such as DOE, FMEA, SPC, and capability analysis \n
- Work on capital projects and determine ROI \n
- Support production and maintenance operations \n
- Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in all departments \n
- Understand and apply ergonomics requirements to eliminate work hazards and improve work safety \n
- Mentor, train, develop, and evaluate team members as required \n
- Help develop and drive metrics for production teams \n
- Communicate projects and progress to all levels of the company \n
What they are looking for:
\n- \n
- BS in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required \n
- 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineering, including strong Continuous Improvement work is required (preferably with custom products or in a job shop) \n
- Experience with CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Creo) is required. \n
- Experience using analytical tools such as: DOE, FMEA, SPC is needed. \n
- The ability to work independently is needed \n
- Prior project management experience, start to finish, is highly desirable \n
- Prior capital project experience is also helpful \n
- Experience with lean manufacturing and value stream mapping is preferred. \n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff \n
