Position Responsibilities

• Deltek is seeking experienced Technical Consultants with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) & .NET Development experience. Clients are primarily in the Professional Services sector using Deltek's ERP (Vantagepoint); an application that offers our clients a completely integrated, end-to-end project-oriented solution.
• This is a client-facing and hands-on consultative role. You will be expected to interface directly with clients as well as be capable of delivering gold-standard reports, and core code, and developing creative, user-friendly, efficient solutions to client and or internal requirements.
• This position creates/modifies reports, modified the core code of the application, tests deliverables, and documents status and results. Performing integrations with third-party applications via iPaaS or Web Service APIs will be a key skill set.
• Responsible for determining workload priorities in accordance with project plans, project schedules, changing work demands and Deltek Consulting policies and practices. This revenue-generating position has performance metrics tied to results and utilization. Up to 30%. Deltek is focused on our employees' professional development and will provide technical and functional product training as well as consultative skills training.
• This position will report to the Consulting Manager. Under general direction, the individual will perform multiple work assignments including .NET Development, working with our ERP Vantagepoint application, working with SQL Server Reporting Services, developing stored procedures for data modification and maintenance, developing web services and other workflow and data control elements. This individual will provide services in accordance with Deltek's established methodologies and governance.
• Our consultants apply business, analytical and technical thinking within areas of assigned responsibility and resolve routine client issues and challenges by identifying possible alternatives and providing recommendations. In addition, consultants may be asked to research reporting issues and provide detailed and preliminary recommendations to their project lead (or designated representative).
• Members of the Deltek Professional Services team contribute to and support the entire professional services team in ensuring client requirements are met. We expect our consultants to take ownership of assigned tasks and follow through on commitments.
• This individual will work collaboratively and build relationships with other consultants, customer staff, and third-party consultants.
• Working with our propriety Deltek Unionpoint iPaaS solution will be essential, and therefore a keen understanding of Workato or other iPaaS solutions will be a key requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of consulting and/or similar development experience
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) (required)
• Experience with .NET development (required)
• Strong T-SQL skills (required)
• Experience with Web Services, APIs (required)
• Experience with Workato platform OR other iPaaS Integration Solution (required)
• ERP with Deltek Vision (preferred) OR project-focused ERP systems like Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, JAMIS, Maconomy, Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains/Solomon/Navision, Axium Protrax or Ajera, BST
• Strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills
• B.A./B.S. or equivalent work experience comparable to a four-year degree in a related area
