Position: Patient Representative 
Location:  Lake Otis Pkwy  Anchorage, AK 99508
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-4pm
Pay Rate Range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience
Dress Code: Business Casual

Job Description:
Responsible for supporting physician and support staff with patient support care including patient experience, patient orders, and maintaining patient flow; this position involves a significant amount of direct patient contact. 
The checkout is typically the first contact a patient will have. 
This is a service position, meaning you are always serving an external or internal customer. 
Answer phone calls 
Schedule appointments
Assist with scanning
Other duties may be assigned by the Practice manager
Qualification:
At least 2 years of experience required in Medical Front Office or Medical Records
Previous experience in health care setting
Excellent customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer skills, Word, Excel, Availity Benefits source
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Flexibility and ability to adapt easily, pay attention to minute details
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and time management in a busy environment
A caring and professional demeanor and patience is crucial for this position
