Speech-Language Pathologist - School City of Hammond, IN
City: Hammond
State: IN Status: Accepting Candidates
Description: The School City of Hammond is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time position to cover a medical leave. The primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting pre-school diagnostics for students transitioning from First Steps
- Evaluating 8-10 students per week, 2 days dedicated to evaluation, report writing, and communication with First Steps
- Providing speech-language services to students for the remainder of the school days
This position is currently open due to a medical leave of an existing SLP and may continue until the end of the current school year.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Indiana
- Experience working with pre-school and school-aged children
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage caseloads and documentation effectively
