Outside Plant Technician - Hillsboro Oregon

Description: We are looking for an exceptional candidate who is comfortable working in outdoor environments. We are accepting applications from entry level candidates who may have just wired on a personal level through experienced cable technicians. Pay varies based on experience. Do not hesitate to apply!

This role is starting off as a one month project but there is a high potential for contract extension based on performance. Our client is starting a variety of new projects so this is a great opportunity to grow within the cabling field!

This role is onsite in Hillsboro Oregon.

Job Duties:

• Pulling cable, pulling innerduct, dressing cables, labeling, fiber cleaning, etc. to industry and customer standards.

• Carry and load materials to be used on the job.

• Maintain professional appearance.

• Must be willing to work both outside and inside during the summer and winter months.

• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

• Safety training as required by position.

• Wash and clean vehicles and equipment.

• Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed.

• Remedial online safety training.

Schedule

Monday-Friday schedule, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, Friday's are typically a shortened day. OT is very common and occasional Saturday work is required.
