We are seeking a dedicated American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter to join our school munity. As an ASL Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating munication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and staff.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in ASL or Educational Interpreting
• Must hold an active Sign Language Interpreter National Certification
• Current New Mexico Public Education Department License for Interpreter for the Deaf
• Previous experience as a school SLI preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpreting services approptiate to student language and munication needs and goals in all academic settings, including ancillary service sessions.
• Facilitate munication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and teachers during lessons, discussions and other school activities.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment for all students.
