Full Time Sterile Compounding Pharmacist - Fairfield, New Jersey

RPh on the Go is actively seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Fairfield, New Jersey. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring the safe and effective preparation and dispensing of medications and solutions in a sterile environment. Responsibilities:

• Prepare, compound, and dispense sterile medications and products, ensuring compliance with USP <797> and <800> guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform calculations required to adapt formulas to a specific patients needs.
• Conduct quality control and sterility testing to ensure that all medications meet the required standards before dispensing.
• Supervise compounding personnel and oversee the maintenance of the cleanroom and compounding equipment to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to customize sterile medication therapies for patients.
• Provide expert advice and consultation on the safe storage and handling of compounded sterile products.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all compounded medications for regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in sterile compounding practices and regulations.

Shift:

• Monday Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm

Qualifications:

• NJ Pharmacist license.
• Sterile compounding experience.
• Experience in home infusion preferred but will consider hospital experience.
