Unique Contracting Opportunity in Special Education - Hybrid, Remote

Soliant Education is seeking a qualified intervention specialist on behalf of an Ohio high school near North Ridgeville. This is a full-time position and is open to in-person, virtual, or hybrid candidates.
Soliant Educators are special contractors working in school districts throughout the United States. As a contractor you are eligible for over-time pay and are not expected to work outside normal school hours. You will also have access to a robust Clinical Support Team that can provide discipline specific advice and tools.
Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
• Valid State Teaching Certification in Special Education

Position Specifics:

• Remote and Hybrid options
• High School caseload, roughly 13 students in total
• Educational responsibilities only no bus duty, chaperoning dances, or lunchroom duty.

Responsibilities:

• Adapt and modify curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and academic development of each child.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students, incorporating various instructional methods and techniques.
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to student development and achievement.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress, discuss concerns, and involve them in the educational process.
