Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being and recovery of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as cardiac catheterization or sonography
- Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth to document patient information accurately and securely
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
- Assist with sterile processing and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in [STATE]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of [X] years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices
