Position Overview

Team Members handle providing exceptional guest service while working closely with the Restaurant Managers and other Crew to keep operational standards and procedures. This position runs under the direction of the General Manager, Assistant Managers, and Shift Leaders. This position has direct interactions with Guests and members of the operations team.

Full-time and Part-time positions are available.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

 

Starting pay rate is up to $16.00 per hour, depending on skill level, experience and/or education. Compensation offered is also subject to local wage and hour laws.

Responsibilities

Some of the Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

•    Have a side of smile: Help customers order their favorite Burger King’s menu items and/or make menu recommendations Prepares and packages food and drink products

•    Prepares and serves food items by all Brand, Company, and health department regulations

•    Supplies excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner

•    Always support the cleanliness of the restaurant including dining room, restroom & exterior

•    Maintains health and safety standards in work areas

•    Unloads and stocks inventory items as needed

•    Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts

•    Follows Burger King uniform and grooming standards and policies

Qualifications

 

•    Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age

•    Comfortable working in a challenging environment

•    Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with guests and coworkers

•    Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations

•    Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

•    Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

•    The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange correct information in these situations

•    Tolerate extreme cold and hot temperatures and work in and around fryers, ovens, grills, coolers, freezers, sharp objects, and loud noises

•    Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift, including reaching for objects overhead

•    Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 10 lbs. often and up to 50+ lb. occasionally, including lifting from ground to overhead

Preferred Qualifications: 

•    Ability to work with a variety of kitchen and service equipment (char-broilers, fryers, grills, frozen dessert machines, hot and cold beverage dispensers, coffee brewers, flash freezers, card reader, cash register, etc.)

•    Experience in a fast-food setting
