POSITION SUMMARY

The CNA or CMA will provide personalized healthcare to members under the direction of TruHealth clinical staff. This position will provide additional care capacity to assist with the needs of each member.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable
accommodation.

  • Recognize and respond to the needs of the members
  • Observe members’ conditions, vital signs, activities of daily living, and report changes to the TruHealth
    clinical staff as soon as possible
  • Establish a relationship with the patient and facility personnel that promotes trust and provides emotional
    support
  • Complete appropriate documentation that is organized, clear, complete, current and legible as needed
  • Verify the identification of a member to ensure appropriate care is provide
  • The ability to participate and assist with recreational and therapeutic activities for members as needed
  • Travel to multiple different locations to round on members and check in with staff to ensure support is given
    appropriately
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Adhere to and respect all policies regarding resident rights, anonymity, and confidentiality of all member records
    past and present
  • Follow infectious disease precautions to prevent spread of infections
  • Possess good interpersonal skills while dealing with emotional or difficult situations; respond promptly to
    customer’s needs
  • Clean driving record and the ability to travel to multiple locations
  • Successful completion of required training
  • Regular, reliable attendance; abide by attendance guidelines

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current state Certified Nursing Assistant license or Certified Medical Assistant 
  • Current driver’s license
  • Automobile insurance in accordance with company policy

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Six (6) months’ healthcare experience preferred
