CCG takes a holistic approach to treatment, utilizing evidenced based practices to address the mental health, spiritual, social and somatic needs of those in recovery from addictions and mental health diagnoses. Our expanding trauma informed care model includes or will include: art therapy, yoga, somatic therapies, EMDR, mindfulness based modalities, group therapy, acupuncture and animal assisted group therapy and more. At CCG we believe in a collaborative approach to care where our team of mental health, addictions and medical professionals share their expertise to best support the unique needs of the individuals we serve.

Mentorship + Support
- Providing high quality clinical therapeutic services to adults with identified mental health and / or substance abuse diagnoses
- A strong awareness of and ability to use trauma oriented approaches to behavioral health treatment
- Ensuring services are provided with a client-centered and family-centered healing approach and. is delivered through goal specific interventions
- An ability and passion to work as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team
- Conduct initial interviews and provide a written assessment
- Provide the appropriate documentation for service delivery including treatment goals, progress notes and billing and submit said documentation as specified by Medicaid, Medicare and CARF standards
- Ensure compliance with governing agency and reporting requirements
- Participate in staff meetings, program clinical team meetings, therapy clinical supervision sessions and in-services as required. Understand and support the CCG philosophy and treatment modalities
- Ensure confidentiality regarding client records, treatment and client information
- Exhibit clear, professional, respectful and effective communication when interfacing with clients, coworkers, families and external contacts
- Ability to work independently and implementing time management and productivity strategies
- Exhibit a high degree of ethical conduct, integrity and confidentiality
- Stay current with updated research and best practices, particularly with a focus on modern trauma informed practices
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or clinically related field required
- Any of the following licenses are required: LCPC or LCSW-C. Must be independently licensed
- Active and in good standing in the state of Maryland
- Must be experienced and proficient in using an electronic health record system
- Must have a strong understanding of trauma oriented approaches or the willingness to grow in this area
