Sales and Production Associate

We are seeking candidates to become part of our team.  The Sales and Production Associate will be responsible to perform a wide variety of duties in the store and the production area.  

Duties and responsibilities will include creating a pleasant, clean and friendly environment while maintaining good customer relationships.

Some of the tasks you may be asked to perform include cash register operations, daily sales reports and bank deposits.  You may also perform sorting of donated goods, hanging and tagging, pricing and running clothing: bric-a-brac, shoes and accessories, domestics, etc.

A qualified individual will have the ability to speak and understand English for effective communication with supervisors, employees, beneficiaries and customers; excellent customer service skills, ability to understand and follow directions, ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to lift 50 pounds.

The Sales and Production Associate occupies a position of trust and is expected to maintain confidentiality and exhibit loyalty to The Salvation Army and the staff of the Adult Rehabilitation Centers in all job-related matters.  

Employees will receive per policy:  holidays, sick and vacation paid time off.  Eligibility for employer sponsored retirement plan after one year of continuous service.
