Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor

bodiesbyphil is a group-fitness studio with two locations -- downtown Ottawa & Kanata. We pride ourselves on our tagline "serious fitness in a not-so-serious environment" by providing a safe, comfortable place for people to exercise and achieve their fitness goals without the intimidation/seriousness of most gyms.

We are looking for personal trainers for both locations who can deliver safe, results-driven and creative group fitness classes focusing on either strength training or metabolic conditioning.

Personal Trainers/Fitness Instructors at our studio are required to:

-build group fitness classes for up to 24 people
-have an intimate knowledge of movement, anatomy and biomechanics
-have a valid personal training certification and personal liability insurance
-have at least 1 year experience teaching group fitness
-be comfortable teaching barbell work & strength training to groups
-be comfortable teaching metabolic conditioning classes
-have a great personality and be comfortable being themselves while teaching
-maintain a high level of personal fitness
-be creative with their class building and constantly change things up
-create playlists for classes
-BE A FUN AND AWESOME PERSON!

We are a small and close group and we are looking for the right person to join our fun-loving team of fitness professionals.

Ideal candidate is available to teach early mornings, evenings and weekends
