We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Trainer to join our team. The Registered Nurse Trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs to ensure the ongoing professional development of our staff. This role requires a combination of clinical expertise, teaching skills, and a passion for nursing education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Responsibilities:


  1. Develop comprehensive training programs for nursing staff based on organizational needs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  2. Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions using a variety of teaching methods, including presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.
  3. Assess the learning needs of nursing staff and adapt training programs accordingly.
  4. Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and relevant.
  5. Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to nursing staff as needed.
  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  7. Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training initiatives.
  8. Stay informed about advancements in nursing practice, technology, and education to enhance training programs continuously.
  9. Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and competency assessments.
  10. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies related to staff training and development.

Qualifications:


  1. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio
  2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
  3. Clinical nursing experience, with experience in staff training and education preferred.
  4. Demonstrated expertise in nursing practice, patient care, and clinical procedures.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse groups of individuals.
  6. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  8. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  10. Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
