Entry Level Clinical Research Nurse (LPN or RN)

Pride Health is hiring an entry level Clinical Research Nurse for our client in Madison, WI! This job is perfect for someone looking to get out of bedside and transfer to a research role! This is a 6-month contract to perm position with our laboratory client in Madison, WI. RNs and LPNs are welcome to apply.

Contract: 6+ Months

Shift: Rotating schedule D/N and weekends

Pay: $45 for RNs/ $35 for LPNs

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare for upcoming studies, servicing only healthy populations during clinical trial studies. Dosing, watching for side effects to trials, administering trial doses, reporting, and investigating side effects.
• Provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients.
• Responsible for providing simple medical care and treatment to patients.
• Collect information regarding medical records, medical insurance details, and other pretreatment formalities.
• Vital signs such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, etc.
• Sanitary requirements such as bathing, dressing, etc.
• Observe and chart/report any patient condition changes.
• Assemble and use equipment such as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, oxygen suppliers, etc.
• Collect samples such as blood, urine and perform routine lab testing on samples.
• Administration of prescription medications and injections under specific policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of nursing experience required.
• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Active compact (RN) or WI (RN) license.
• Active WI LPN license.
