Some of your day-to-day tasks?

• Collaborate with purchasing staff to resolve issues as they come up.
• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
• Unload packages from incoming trucks.
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
• Verify packages according to purchase order and invoices (quantity, quality, )
• Contact Purchasing Staff if an error is discovered
• Assume responsibility for returning incorrect delivered goods.
• Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
• Ensure packing slips match actual delivered items to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and assist in inventory control as requested by Material Handling Forman

What do you need to be able to do?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position
• Experience in operating forklifts- Certification will be required once hired
• Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
• Basic math and recording abilities
• Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Essential Physical Requirements- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. frequently throughout the day, as well as the ability to walk and stand for several hours at a time.
