The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Madison is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Night Auditor. The hours of this position are from 11 pm to 7 am, Friday and Saturday nights.

Job Description: This position requires a motivated, dependable, and detailed-oriented individual with good computer skills, who can multi-task and demonstrate a guest-focused attitude while responding quickly to guest needs. Our team members are positive individuals who know how to exceed guest expectations while maintaining an exceptional level of hospitality and professionalism. This person will be in charge of the hotel throughout the overnight hours, which includes running the nightly audit reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet arriving guests, assign rooms, make keys, and collect guest payment and billing information in a friendly and welcoming manner, as needed.
  • Ability to work on a computer, answer phone calls, and handle walk-ins for guest reservations, cancellations, check-ins, check-outs, and processing guests payment and billing information.
  • Providing outstanding service by listening and handling guests needs and requests in a quick and timely manner.
  • Communicate with all departments to ensure a smooth and well-run operation so that each guest has the best experience possible.
  • Acknowledge the guest as they are leaving the hotel in a friendly manner.
  • Running night audit reports, then printing and/or saving, and providing the General Manager with proper report sheets.
  • Responsible for correcting and/or adjusting any reservations that have any billing issues and ensuring all proper cards have full balances authorized and payments are taken.
  • Responsible for overseeing the hotel in the overnight hours and dealing with any issues by following proper procedures.
  • May have to perform other duties in order to maintain smooth operation of the hotel.
