With a significant presence in California, we're dedicated to expanding our reach and enhancing our technology to lead in wildfire defense solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with our mission and objectives. Manage forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow to optimize resource allocation and drive sustainable growth.

Build and leverage relationships with venture capitalists, angel investors, financial institutions, and government agencies to secure funding for expansion and technological advancement.
  • Operational Finance Management: Establish and maintain a robust financial infrastructure to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity in financial reporting. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and tax laws. Identify and mitigate financial risks effectively.
  • Board and Investor Relations: Act as the primary liaison between our finance function, the Board of Directors, and investors. Present financial reports, forecasts, and strategic insights to guide decision-making and inspire confidence in our financial management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA required.
  • Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles within high-growth startups or established organizations, preferably as a CFO or VP of Finance.
  • Extensive direct experience in fundraising, with a successful track record in securing funding from diverse sources and navigating complex financing structures.
  • Expertise in financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and mentorship. Previous experience building and leading high-performing finance teams is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships with investors, board members, and external partners.
  • Strategic mindset with a results-oriented approach to financial management and decision-making.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary and benefits package, including equity options commensurate with experience and contribution.
