We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and organized individual to serve as our entry-level Compliance Specialist. This role will be based out of our conveniently located Union, NJ office. The Compliance Specialist is a key member of the Legal & Compliance team, responsible for all aspects of the licensing process for new and existing professional licenses and program credentials. You will assist in ensuring that the company continues to meet our stringent compliance standards.


About The Team:

Affiliated’s Legal & Compliance team is a tight-knit group of dedicated professionals who support core business growth through collaborative partnerships. Led by our General Counsel and supported by an associate attorney and a credentialing specialist, they are a true partner to the business. A people development mindset ensures the team is able to invest in themselves and grow to their full potential within the organization.


What you will do:

  • Maintain professional licenses of the company and our employee license holders across the United States
  • Track and calendar new and renewal licensing applications
  • Managing annual and quarterly audits for licenses and professional credentials
  • Assist with contract administration and tracking
  • Track and approve municipal invoices for professional licenses, registrations, and other fees
  • Assist with special projects for the Legal & Compliance team

  • Building a culture of compliance within the organization, where compliance is seen as everyone’s responsibility

  • Demonstrate ability to manage documents, track deadlines, conduct research, and maintain confidentiality


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience in an office environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail with a bias to action and finding answers
  • Ability to function as a true team player and perform in a fast-paced environment
