Clinical Supervisor

Full Time | Day Shift | 8am-5pm | Monday-Friday

$75k-80k/yr + eligible for $5k/yr bonus

Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio is currently seeking a Clinical Supervisor for LSS Health Center (formerly Health Center at Faith Mission) in Columbus, Ohio. What will I do as the Clinical Supervisor with Lutheran Social Services?

  • Ensures that the services being provided follow agency policies and procedures, all regulatory standards, including local, state, federal laws; any Ohio accrediting boards; and insurance companies including Medicaid.
  • Supervises dependently and independently licensed therapists who provide services through the program.
  • Provides direct care services to clients who often are working through co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Maintains accurate and thorough documentation.
  • Works cooperatively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (medical, dental, vision, etc.)
  • Willing to work with a diverse group of people of diverse experiences.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. Also ensures that staff are maintaining all file updates and audits, as assigned.
  • Must have knowledge and adherence to ethical standards as set forth by the board that the practitioner is licensed to in addition to the Ohio Code of Ethics for practitioner's license.
  • Works with the Director of Clinical and Supportive Services to conduct departmental business.

Requirements for the Clinical Supervisor with Lutheran Social Services:

  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, and/or Marriage & Family Therapy; or PhD/PsyD in Psychology; or Related human services field required.
  • LPCC, LISW, IMFT; or Ohio Psychology Board as a Psychologist Required
  • LISW-S, LPCC-S, IMFT-S or Psychologist (Preferred).
  • Minimum two years working in a direct care role required.
  • Minimum one year (or equivalent of) supervisory experience working with direct reports.
  • Experience conducting diagnostic assessments.
  • Experience working with following or related populations: homelessness, behavioral health, substance abuse/addiction, chronic physical disabilities, HIV/HIV prevention & education strongly preferred.
  • Administrative reporting experience
  • Experience utilizing (minimally) the following techniques, interventions and EBP's: Motivational Interviewing skills, Stages of Change, Harm Reduction, CBT.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license, access to reliable insured transportation and ability to meet LSS insurance standards required.
