Job Title: Journeyman Plumber

Department: Project and Service

Reports to: Mountain Operation Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Eligible for OT)

Location: Eagle, Summit County, Glenwood Springs, CO
Wage Range$40-$55/hourly

Job Description:
The Journeyman Plumbing to ensure the safety of those we work with and around.  You will be helping install, troubleshoot, and service systems from snowmelt, boilers, plumbing waste, water and gas, and hydronic systems.   The quality of the services we provide, and the realization of our profitability goals as they relate explicitly to the large commercial installation, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of mechanical plumbing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of installing commercial plumbing and heating systems
  • Safety management to ensure zero incidents within all areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure adherence by department and personnel to Company Core Values
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design ability of related plumbing systems.
  • Must be able to follow all specifications and building codes associated with their work.
  • Install sanitary systems, water systems, fuel systems, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Dependable, punctual, and monitors own work to ensure the highest quality.
  • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local and national codes and industry standards.
  • Ability to perform the following:
    • Diagnose water heater/boilers/troubleshooting
    • Pumps/fixture install utility and piping systems
    • Repair of plumbing
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5 years journeyman experience
  • Boiler and hydronic experience
  • Some control/low voltage experience a Plus tekmar
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background, drug screen, and physical evaluation.
