Certified Pool Operator Full-time Hourly
Reports to: Facilities Manager
Our Mission

Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring that the cedar hot tubs, cold plunges, and indoor pools are clean and in proper working order, and sanitation levels are within Health Department regulation.
General Maintenance
- Keep the properties clean, neat, organized, and visually appealing.
- Remove trash and debris and keep sidewalks swept and clean.
- Repair and maintain property and equipment.
Pool Maintenance:
- Vacuum pools, clean pool tile, drain and clean tubs and plunges, adjust chemical levels as required.
- Submit work requests to management as needed.
- Follow the maintenance schedule in all weather conditions.
- Keep accurate records and reports per El Paso County Health Department
- Inspect and repair pool and tub equipment issues and report problems to the manager.
- Inventory pool chemicals and supplies and submit purchase requests to the manager.
- Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
- Anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve problems.
General Responsibilities:
- Assess the property for potentially hazardous situations such as icy/snowy/slippery surfaces, misplaced tools/equipment, dangerously placed hoses and extension cords, water quality, trash/debris, etc, and report hazards to the manager.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Attend all required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance, as required by scheduling, which may vary according to the needs of the spa.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include proper uniforms.
- Comply with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient spa operations.
- Show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
- Always maintain a friendly and warm demeanor with guests and staff.
- Effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Hygiene is key in this environment due to the proximity of working with the clients.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Certified Pool Operator certificate preferred or required within one year of hire.
- Experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification within one year of hire.
- Ability to work independently, take direction, and work on a team.
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible night hours. The position is 4:00pm-2:00am, 4 shifts per week.
- Physical stamina with the ability to reach, kneel, stoop, bend, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk up and down stairs multiple times per day.
- Ability and willingness to follow all company, local, and federal guidelines.
