Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Department: Service

Reports to: Mountain Operations Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Eligible for OT)

Location: Eagle, Summit County, Glenwood Springs, CO
Wage Range$40-$55/hourly (Including $2,500.00 sign-on bonus for relocation for out of state candidates)

Job Description:
We are adding to our Service Department and are hiring an HVAC/R Technician. We're looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience working in Commercial HVAC applications. The HVAC/R Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC/R systems utilizing their knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, brazing, and mechanical layouts. Comfortable and knowledgeable troubleshooting boilers.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems.
  • Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes, or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
  • Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
  • Keeps current all manufacturers’ products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Provides technical support to customers.
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
  • Call duty

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience as an HVAC/R Technician 
  • Boiler Troubleshooting, Install and Startup
  • RTU Troubleshooting, Install and Service
  • Some experience with Pex and PVC Piping
  • Split System AC and Furnace Install and Service
  • Valid Driver’s License and Clear MVR
  • Current EPA License 
  • Can successfully pass a criminal background check, drug test, and physical ensuring you can perform the duties of the job.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to be a team player and possess leadership qualities.
