Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the VPO, the Regional Nurse Consultant is responsible for leading and directing the overall nursing services training while overseeing compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.


Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
  • Outstanding communication ability with a diverse staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be capable of frequent travel, maintaining regular attendance and working long and irregular hours, often under pressure conditions.
  • Excellent team leadership skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to be flexible to find the right balance between operational pressures, annual objectives, and various internal and external pressures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual
  • Capable of maintaining regular attendance and to work evenings and weekends, as necessary.
  • Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based on their skills, roles, and interests.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, balancing process, and business results. Outstanding prioritization and project management.
  • Effective at finding a balance between listening, coaching, proposing, directing and decision-making.
  • Highly accountable with commitment to the urban and rural health care sectors.
  • Excellent in absorbing new information quickly and translating key points into positive outcomes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
