Cocktail Server

At Grandfather Golf & Country Club, we are committed to providing exceptional service to our members and guests. We have full time and part time seasonal Cocktail Server positions available. For this role we are in search of personable, attentive and socially focused people who are able to adhere to established guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Taking drink orders and recommending menu items as appropriate.
• Delivering drinks to tables in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Ensuring orders are accurately charged in an efficient and timely manner.
• Providing exceptional service by answering questions and fulfilling special requests.
• Assisting with other duties as assigned by management.
• Required to work holidays through July.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Cocktail Server or in a similar role in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of different types of alcohol and how they are prepared.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
