Job Description
A Stockroom Lead is responsible for leading a team of employees in the stockroom. The Lead ensures that work orders are produced in accordance with all specifications, quality requirements, and in a timely manner to meet delivery schedules.
Job Responsibilities:
- Organize workers to meet delivery schedule
- Instruct and enforce that work procedures are followed
- Identify ways to improve quality, cost and speed of kitting orders
- Instruct on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
- Encourage team effort and supportive attitudes between workers
- Receive, bag and count stock items
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockroom
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner
- Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
- Small part assembly work
- Kit orders for the production floor
- Perform other stockroom clerk duties, as assigned
- Some Incoming Receiving duties, as needed

Qualifications:
- High School diploma required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and email required
- Prior experience as a lead or supervisor a plus
- Knowledge of inventory management systems (Purchasing) a plus
- Familiarity with ERP systems a plus
Job Detail:
- Full time with benefits
- Hourly nonexempt
- 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday
- Wage $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Essential Functions:
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
- Standing and walking for long periods of time
- Use of upper body, arms, and hands throughout the day
- Frequent kneeling, twisting, and/or reaching repeatedly throughout the day
- Repeated lifting 10-20 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights, when needed
- Able to see details at close range such as small print (corrected vision ok)
