Adjunct Instructor, Art of China

The Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) is seeking a Part-Time Adjunct Instructor for our Art History Department to teach Art of China for the Fall 2024 semester.

A survey of one the world's oldest and richest cultures, assumptions about awareness of world culture are challenged through a rich introduction to the art and couture of China. Covering the prehistoric period (c. 8000 BCE) to the 20th century, and contextualized by an understanding of religion, mythology, political systems, and social structures, an examination of the art of China provides an exposure to artistic conventions and premises distinctly different from those of the Western tradition

Position: Adjunct Instructor, part-time

Qualifications: Master's Degree and previous teaching experience preferred.
