Job Summary:

As a Senior Associate at Tepedino and Company, you will be an integral part of our client service team, providing expertise in accounting, taxation, and financial advisory services. You will work closely with clients, managers, and partners to deliver exceptional client service, and manage engagements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Lead and participate in client engagements, including audits, reviews, compilations, and tax preparations. Ensure the delivery of high-quality and timely services to meet client needs.

  • Financial Analysis: Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations to clients. Assist in the development of financial strategies and solutions.

  • Taxation: Prepare and review corporate and individual tax returns. Stay current with tax laws and regulations to minimize tax liabilities and provide tax planning advice to clients.

  • Audit and Assurance: Plan and execute audit procedures, including risk assessment, testing, and documentation. Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.

  • Client Communication: Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and provide exceptional client service.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP). Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations.

  • Compliance: Assist clients in complying with regulatory requirements and reporting obligations. Stay informed about industry-specific regulations.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, accounting standards, and best practices. Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and taxation.
CPA or other relevant professional certifications are a plus.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively.
Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
