Base salary based in part by experience and licenses.

Responsibilities
- Actively shopping our client renewal accounts to ensure we are providing updated coverage and the best rates available
- Demonstrate active listening, rapport building, empathy and solutions-focused problem solving when engaging with customers
- Creating and advising personalized insurance proposals based on the needs of the client
- Providing professional consultations with clients for their service needs
- Effectively identifying other needs in client conversations so we can connect with our other departments to assist (i.e.: Life, Benefits, Business)
- Identifying claims situations and addressing with empathy, urgency and solutions-focused problem solving for our clients
- Retain continuous awareness of workflow and keep activity notations in compliance with agency procedures
- Frequently replenish job-specific knowledge and apply it in the field
- Follow and apply policies and procedures for sales, notation and follow up processes
- Work Schedule: Minimum 40 hours per week, rare night/weekend may be required
- Life License a plus
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Personal Lines Insurance role. Preference for Independent Agency experience. Individuals with less than 5 years experience are encouraged to apply--our focus is on adding the right team member.
- Valid P&C License
- Highschool degree, preferred BA/BS in Communications, Business, Marketing or related field
- Working knowledge of Applied Epic a plus
- Working knowledge of all personal lines insurance, insurance agency operations, coverages, rates, markets and applicable insurance laws/codes/regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills--self-managed, proactive, ability to multi-task, organized, emotional intelligence and self-awareness
