Sr. AWS Cloud Operation Engineer

Location: Columbus - OH, USA (onsite)

We are looking for Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer with AWS Migration to other Cloud domain, for an immediate need. This is an onsite client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Develop design & architect solution usingAWS foundation services - VPC, Compute, Storage, Network & Security

* Develop and provision infrastructure using CloudFormation or Terraform templates.

* Perform native Systems Administration functions using Scripting, etc in Linux and/or Windows environments.

* Define and implement best practices for core AWS services for VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, ELB, WAF, VPN, Transit Gateway, RDS, etc.

* Good Understanding AWS Landing Zone / Foundation services.

* Setting up & automation of AWS Infrastructure for Golden AMI pipeline, Patching, Backup and Restore

* Configure AWS logging and monitoring setup.

* Migrate applications & database using tools such AWS MGN, AWS DMS & industry best practices.

* Good to perform migration from AWS to Azure.

Qualifications:

* 10+ years overall industry experience with at least 4+ years in AWS and 3+ DC migration / consolidation

* Strong understanding of AWS foundation setup - VPC, Compute, Storage, Network & Security

* Experience in migrating large scale customer facing applications from AWS to Azure environment.

* Good to have Multi Cloud Experience in both AWS & Azure

* Good understanding of cloud Infrastructure concepts and data center load balancing technologies, networking and TCP/IP Server hardware configuration, Active Directory, and Standard Internet services, such as DNS, HTTP, etc

* Expertise in application & database migrations using tools such as Cloud Endure, AWS SMS and AWS DM

* Hands on experience & expertise in AWS Cloud-Formation or Terraform to build AWS infrastructure from scratch.

* Has solid understanding of infrastructural automation.

* Strong Administration skills in Linux and/or Windows.

* Knowledge of DR Setup and testing is added plus.
