Traveling Superintendent

Summary
Per Sé Group is working with a leading commercial general contractor with nationwide projects looking to hire a Traveling Construction Superintendent. The ideal candidate has experience on ground-up and/or commercial buildout construction projects in the luxury retail and/or restaurant space. This is a 100% traveling role.

 

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate various subcontractors to ensure contract compliance
• Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project
• Monitor and ensure worker’s and all subcontractors’ safety
• Conduct effective and inclusive morning huddles with crews to coordinate daily and weekly activities
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and all progress meetings as required
• Develop project schedule, trade staffing, materials, tool, and equipment requirements with PM

 

Preferred Skills and Expertise

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• Luxury retail and/or high-end restaurant construction experience required 
• Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, and supervisory skills
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints
