LHH partnered with a local company to recruit for a Project Coordinator in Sacramento, CA.

Project Coordinator

Location: Sacramento, CA

Temp to Hire

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in production meetings and maintain the master project list.

  • Collaborate with the project team to manage network drive filing systems.

  • Support Project Managers and Project Engineers as needed throughout projects.

  • Manage and update subcontractor and vendor certificates of insurance.

  • Prepare subcontract agreements and purchase orders.

  • Manage email communications and filing systems.

  • Handle document ordering, including plans and specifications.

  • Contribute to the development of QA/QC processes for design/build projects.

  • Create and organize project folders, ensuring compliance with office filing conventions.

  • Assist Estimators in maintaining complete quote folders.

  • Handle project data sheets and submit preliminary notices.

  • Coordinate with the risk management department for division background clearance and badging.

  • Distribute project information to the team via Bluebeam.

  • Assist with document submission and tracking, including RFI's and submittals.

  • Aid Project Managers in gathering pricing for change orders and work orders.

  • Manage the submittal process, including verification, submission, and follow-up.

  • Monitor labor budgets and additional costs.

  • Assist with equipment and materials procurement and management.

  • Coordinate information flow between the field, detailing, and fabrication personnel.

  • Manage office drawings and track modifications.

  • Ensure contract closeout requirements are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred but not required.

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and computer skills.

  • Excellent prioritization skills for tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional customer service skills and professionalism.

  • Willingness to learn and grow within the division.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Bluebeam and MS Project is advantageous.

  • Ability to conduct research and organize information effectively.
