LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Systems Specialist to join a non-profit organization located in Linda Vista. You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. As a Payroll Systems Specialist, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and provide expert guidance on payroll processes.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Administer payroll systems to process employee compensation accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding payroll and tax requirements
  • Audit, review and maintain HR/payroll databases
  • Troubleshoot issues, maintain logs and generate daily reports
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies
  • Implement system upgrades and enhancements to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency
  • Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in payroll administration and systems management
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on payroll system functionalities and processes

Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field is preferred but not required
  • Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably with expertise in payroll systems management
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insight
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems, such as ADP, Workday, or SAP
  • Certification in payroll administration (e.g., CPP) is a plus

Working Hours:
  • Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-5:00pm PST
  • Friday from 9:00am-1:00pm PST
  • 36 hours per week
