Role Description

We are looking for an exceptional infrastructure leader who will develop and execute on the strategies to scale factory builds and enable Form to be a manufacturing powerhouse.

You will build & grow the mission-driven team that will conceptualize, engineer and build Form Energy's battery factories worldwide.

This is an exciting opportunity to start from a blank slate, develop a strong team, and use first principles to engineer & build advanced manufacturing factories.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and lead the factory engineering & construction team consisting of infrastructure engineering, construction, project controls & tool installation.

  • Your team will be responsible for defining the factory infrastructure requirements, driving the engineering with internal & external engineering firms and delivering on the construction of the project with our trade partners.

  • Your team is also responsible for planning & executing on the manufacturing equipment installation & integration to the factory.

  • Set goals, core principles, and procedures that will foster a culture of innovation to enable highest team performance.

  • Maintain full ownership of the construction schedule, budgeting, sequencing, and reporting. You will drive to a record speed and efficient execution through fundamental understanding and simplification of scope, challenging requirements and effective contracting strategies.

  • Extensive cross functional planning and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a well coordinated and successful project.

  • Build strong partnerships with our trade partners and permitting authorities.

  • Build effective relationships across the company to ensure alignment with company goals.

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, manufacturing or construction, delivering on complex commercial, large industrial and manufacturing projects; 4+ years leading teams.

  • Fundamental understanding of industrial construction engineering, scoping, planning, contracting, sequencing, reporting, budgeting and execution.

  • Exceptional commitment, work ethic and sense of urgency.

  • Passion for building large scale manufacturing infrastructure.

  • Outstanding organizational, communication, leadership, interpersonal and decision-making abilities.

  • Experience managing conflicting objectives and compressed timelines within complex industrial project execution.

  • Degree in engineering, construction management or or equivalent.
