Spare Parts Coordinator

Summary:

Prepare, organize and maintain Manufacturing Maintenance records using SAP system to assure that all spare parts are properly identified and kept current. They will be assisting the Equipment Reliability Engineer with spare parts inventory reduction to assure lowest cost and, at the same time, optimal inventory level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Suggest improvements and changes to minimal inventory levels to ensure spare parts availability based on monitoring of the spare parts usage.
• Effectively maintains the spare parts inventory system and its business processes.
• Supports equipment enrollment and data entry into SAP.
• Order and stock spare parts.
• Support maintenance and reliability initiatives.
• Use SAP system to control inventory to ensure spare parts availability for work orders.
• Liaise with purchasing and maintenance/engineering for scheduling spare parts delivery as required.
• Work with outside vendors for procurement and services.
• Actively participates in the training of maintenance personnel.
• Assist management with SAP work orders, work schedules, equipment maintenance schedules, training of the new employees, reporting and other related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Associate's or technical degree preferred
• Two to four years related experience and/or training.
• SAP data entry experience required.

• Indoor. Office environment. Temperature controlled.

Work Hours:

• Standard work schedule, overtime may be necessary for meeting deadlines, required travel, and emergent conditions.
• On-call for emergent conditions.

Travel Requirements:

• Remote - perform job responsibilities from customer work sites.
• This position may involve travel up to 10% of the time.
