WELDERS and FITTERS

We seek Welders and Fitters for our 1st and 2nd Shift to become a valued team member! You will be welding metal aluminum boxes for industrial electrical control panels and other metal products. We are currently offering $3.50 for shift differential for 2nd shift. 

Quality Electrical Systems will provide all welding equipment. Must be able to pass drug screen and background prior to starting. 

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal boxes and other products
• Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
• Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Checking finished work to make sure it falls within the tolerance marked on the blueprints

​Qualifications:

• Must pass our weld test of TIG MIG on 12, 14, and 16 gauge
• Test welds on heavy tubing that is 3/8” and 1/4” wall
• Knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, arc, and oxy-fuel welding
• Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
• Previous experience in welding in manufacturing, or other related fields
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Be able to meet the physical demands that welding requires
