Mechanical Drafter / Designer

We are seeking a talented mechanical drafter/designer to join our engineering design team. We are a pioneer, partner, innovator, and builder in the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) industry. Responsibilities:
In your role as a mechanical drafter/designer, your primary responsibilities will include working closely with engineering to create accurate models and clear drawings of components and assemblies. You will also regularly review colleagues' models and drawing packages as required. The end goal is to produce final products that meet schedule requirements and fulfill customer needs. Your role involves ensuring that design releases are precise, free from errors, cost-effective, and capable of being manufactured. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team working together to deliver the next generation of UAS products.

The ideal candidate is a mechanical drafter / designer with recent CAD experience in the development of drawings for UAS design.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:
3-5 years relevant experience (mechanical drafting, manufacturing, etc.)
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Drafting; or equivalent education and experience
Demonstrated experience creating and modifying individual parts, assembly models, and drawings in Creo
Experience in electrical drafting (wiring/harness modeling and drawing, pinout tables, etc.)
Ability to accurately create and efficiently manage Bills of Materials
Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) experience using Windchill software
Proficiency in ASME Y14.5M Standards
Good problem solving and decision-making skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Experience with UAS
Ability to train others on design and drawing practices

Qualifications:
At least 1 year professional experience as mechanical drafter/designer using Creo, Solidworks, or related tool.
Demonstrated ability to:
Utilize and comprehend engineering drawings.
Draft, modify and redline engineering drawings.
Maintain accurate product documentation and support work instructions.
Manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
