Aegis Worldwide has partnered with a top-tier manufacturer in the Hartford, CT area. We are looking for Quality Inspectors to join their team and grow within their company.
· Pay:
o up to $29/HR + OT
· Shift:
o First 6:00am – 3:30pm
o Second 3:00pm – 12:30am
· Hours per week
o 50-55
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform inspections on machined components
- Experience with microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and gages.
- Perform First Piece, FAI, In-process, and Final Inspection
- Completes necessary documentation related to Quality Inspection standards.
- Experience with handling non-conformities
- Ensure Good Document Practices
- Ability to use and navigate ERP and QMS systems to ensure inspection and traceability activities are properly documented and controlled, as needed.
- Must follow occupational Safety and Health requirements including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidance and rules.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent directly transferrable work experience (Manufacturing or Engineering discipline preferred).
Experience
- Minimum of 0-2 years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
