Direct Support Professional


Safe and Secure Healthcare is a home care agency that provides a wide range of services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide support in the areas of: health and hygiene, community integration, mobility and communication, and social. Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting and background checks.
• Valid Drivers License and driving record is required.

Essential Duties:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (DSTL). DSTL includes bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, eating, hygiene needs, etc.
• Encourage clients to participate in activities that include but are not limited to group activities, family events, music, dance, painting, crafts, etc.
• Provide assistance with transportation to and from appointments within the community.
• Record the client's progress using an electronic computer system.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in all aspects of your job.
• Communicate with the care team about the progress and needs of your clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 40 per week

Experience:
