ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of a Room Attendant is integral to maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall quality of hotel rooms. Room Attendants are responsible for ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay by keeping their accommodations impeccably clean and well-maintained.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Room Cleaning: Clean and service guest rooms according to established hotel standards. This includes making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Linen and towel replacement: Ensure that fresh linens, towels, and toiletries are stocked and replaced in guest rooms. Properly dispose of used linens ad towels for laundering.
  • Maintenance: Report any maintenance issues or damage in guest rooms to the appropriate department so that repairs can be made promptly. This includes issues with plumbing, electrical fixtures, or any room amenities.
  • Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to detail when cleaning and inspecting rooms to ensure that no area is overlooked. Strive for perfection in cleanliness and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Keep track of cleaning supplies and report when supplies need replenishing to the supervisor or manager.
  • Privacy and Security: Respect guest privacy and security by following the hotel's policies on room entry and key management.
  • Guest Requests: Attend to special guest requests, such as providing extra amenities or arranging for room service, to enhance guest satisfaction

You are a detail-oriented and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization. You are a crucial part of the hotel's housekeeping team and have a high sense of efficiency, urgency and accuracy.
