Summary
Are you interested in teaching young children and love the outdoors? We are looking for you!
We are currently hiring assistant teachers to support or infant and toddler program. No previous experience is required.
Flexible shift options are available (examples include 6:30am-11am, 11 am-3 pm, and 2 pm-5:30 pm or even full time). This is a great opportunity for high school students, an active retiree, a parent while kids are at school, or a beginning to a new career.
A Place to Grow is situated on 13 acres and there are opportunities to explore the woods, garden, go for nature walks, and grow through experiential learning processes in our Nature Explore certified outdoor classrooms.
Duties
Assistant teachers have the incredible opportunity to float and work with all classrooms and students across the school. They support classroom teachers by assisting throughout the day including break coverage, supervising activities, and assisting in activities of daily living. This is a great opportunity to learn about early childhood education and begin your journey as a teacher in a special nature based setting.
Requirements
No previous experience is required. Candidates with degrees in alternative fields are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must complete NH Health and Safety Training online
Fingerprinting and a Background check are required (company paid for)
Complete First Aid and CPR training (company paid for)
Be ready to share the joy of learning through play in a beautiful nature based setting!
