Location: Suzanne Elise Assisted Living Community- 101 Forest Dr. Seaside, OR 97138

Perfect Attendance Bonus Eligible! This means each pay period that you achieve perfect attendance, full time employees will receive a bonus of $100, and part-time employees will receive $75! Details of this bonus program will be discussed upon hire.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide each resident with routine daily health services and medication needs.

Suzanne Elise offers assisted living & respite care. We have 79 apartments, and provide our residents with a comfortable, safe, and active senior living environment. Discover our amenities, activities, and services, all catered to them! Our assisted living residents enjoy outings to the beach, reading a good book in our library, or playing a game with friends. Our residents have a voice as part of our Resident Council, influencing the amenities and activities for all to enjoy. Responsibilities

  • Administer medications ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the DHS and according to current policies, procedures, and practices
  • Provide care for residents and assist with updating service plans.
  • Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly and provide first aid assistance
  • Assist with daily living activities (i.e., bathing, dressing, and eating)
  • Provide support with residents to caregivers as needed
  • Document and communicate resident changes and complete all reports in a timely manner
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications

  • High-School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have or obtain (within 30-days of employment) First Aid & CPR Certification
  • Minimum of one-year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • CMA certification is preferred
  • Must obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment
  • Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elders
