Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine medical office tasks and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly and efficiently.
Compensation will be based on talent and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical provider
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Taking patient vitals and asking clinical questions to assess patient needs
- Follow procedures to administer injections
- Team player to assist office in front desk and medical records task as needed
Qualifications:
- Strongly encourage applicants with intentions to continue education in nursing, physician assistance, etc programs
- Successful completion of Medical Assistant Program
- Previous experience in medical office or facility to include documentation and assistance with medications
- E-scribing experience is preferable
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures and EMR
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership skills will help in this position
