We are seeking a seasoned Safety professional with OSHA 30 certification and extensive experience in construction safety. A comprehensive understanding of electrical industry consensus standards such as NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI is essential. Strong communication skills, coupled with the ability to influence behaviors, make you an ideal fit for this role. You thrive as both a team player and an independent worker.

  • The Project Safety Manager plays a crucial role in fostering an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC) within Project Teams by creating and maintaining a Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan. This position is responsible for ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local safety regulations.
  • As the Project Safety Manager, your key responsibilities include producing weekly Total Case Incident Reports for significant projects and presenting them to project leadership and management.
  • Lead investigations into incidents and injuries with the support of Production leadership and actively participate in weekly toolbox safety meetings.
  • Monitor and audit Subcontractor compliance to ensure alignment with applicable standards, regulations, and project safety requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or a related field such as Construction Management, Business, or Engineering is preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Construction certification is mandatory. CPR/FA certification (Trainer Preferred) and other safety certifications are desirable. The candidate must be willing to obtain a BCSP CHST certification or higher within 12 months.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of construction safety experience, with a preference for experience in electrical safety.
