As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Front of House Assistant Manager.

Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Front of House Assistant Manager to support the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will assist in managing day-to-day front of house operations, ensuring impeccable customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our management team to deliver memorable dining experiences and contribute to the success of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate front of house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders, to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Assist in training, and scheduling front of house staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Uphold company standards for hospitality, professionalism, and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor dining room activity and address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food service, maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with tact and professionalism, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to meet budgetary goals.
  • Implement and enforce safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
  • Support special events, promotions, and other initiatives to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of restaurant POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and cocktail service, is preferred.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and willingness to ensure compliance.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
